Tare: "The technical level of AC Milan's midfield has risen."

"Our intention was to intervene in midfield. Milan must dominate matches. With the arrival of Modric, Jashari, and Ricci, I think I've raised the technical level of this team," AC Milan sporting director Igli Tare told Mediaset in the pre-match interview for AC Milan's Coppa Italia match against Bari at San Siro.

This was the occasion where the new signings of this busy summer transfer window were presented to the fans. "Convincing Modric? It wasn't very difficult; he supported AC Milan as a child. We felt like two former kids supporting the same team. I immediately understood that he was thinking about AC Milan, and I tried to convey his enthusiasm: his arrival is an added value for this team," Tare added.
